Long before his blockbuster career in insurance sales at USHealth Group, Randy’s dream was to be a major league pitcher. His idol was Nolan Ryan. But Randy blew out his shoulder his senior year. After surgery, he made the team at Blinn College, but his blown-out shoulder couldn’t take the stress of 92-mph pitches anymore. So instead of baseball, he switched his focus to business and graduated from A&M.
Fresh out of college, Randy was snapped up by a recruiter named Connie and thrown head-first, reluctantly, into the world of insurance sales. For the next six months, Randy drove 200 miles each Monday morning to a mandatory meeting. “I still really had no idea what we were selling, how we marketed and what I was doing.”
Randy was about to throw in the towel. He decided to study the high performers in his division and figure out what they were doing to pull out huge numbers every quarter. He asked one to be his mentor. Check this article at Bloomberg.com to know more about USHealth Group
He spent twelve months dedicated to his mentor doing meetings together and learning how insurance sales are done. He learned to be more than just an insurance salesperson. He learned to protect families and lives for USHealth Group.
Eventually, with the advice of his friends, Randy switched to USHealth Advisors, where today he is a Satellite Division Leader.
Today, Randy is throwing solid pitches for his clients and doing the right thing. He is a leader and top producer at USHealth Group every quarter. He’s married and a father. He lives by the USHealth Group Advisors’ mission of Helping Other People Everyday. See more updates on Twitter
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Provide the mission of hope to someone you meet in business, on the street, or even standing in line at the store. A smile, a handshake, give that person a little bit extra. That’s the person I try to be.” Learn more:http://www.ushealthdirect.com/
