Having time to do it all is not normally something you would associate with a full-time dentist, but Dr. Avi Weisfogel would suggest otherwise. Dr. Avi Weisfogel is a kind-hearted man who loves his dental work, but also takes time on the side to be involved with local charities, and also makes music. According to his introductory video on YouTube, Avi is also married and a father of six children, and he first got into dentistry upon graduating from New York University’s School of Dentistry in 1997.
Avi Weisfogel The Dentist
Dr. Weisfogel’s office is Old Bridge Dental Care, located in Old Bridge New Jersey. Weisfogel performs most of your typical kind of dental work from cavity fillings to root canals. But he also is involved in dental practices that are designed to help patients sleep better. One method he advocates is using oral appliances, devices patients wear in their mouth that help keep breathing airways open. Weisfogel has done extensive research on how cures for sleep apnea may hold cures for other symptoms.
Avi Weisfogel The Philanthropist
Weisfogel doesn’t just keep the money he earns from his salary in his back pocket, he has given back to the Old Bridge community and hosted fundraising events. He recently launched a GoFundMe page for Operation Smile, an international program established in 1982 to help bring treatment to young children across the world that have mouth and lip deformities, usually inherited at birth. He also has taken part in charities at his favorite sports teams’ events, including Hockey Fights Cancer, hosted by the New York Rangers.
Avi Weisfogel The Artist
Weisfogel loves music, in addition to fixing teeth, raising awareness for charities and being a full-time family man. Some of the artists Weisfogel loved growing up were Pink Floyd and Billy Joel, but Weisfogel has moved well beyond the 80s. Lately his interest has been in the hip-hop genre where he’s taken to making some of his own beats, according to his MTV profile page.
