Dr. Avi Weisfogel has operated the Old Bridge Dental Care center in New Jersey for over 15 years. Aside from dentistry, he also has extensive experience with sleep disorders.
Dr. Weisfogel is all about helping others. It saddens him to see children not get the proper dental care they deserve. He has even gone as far as setting up a Go Fund Me page to help raise money for Operation Smile. The international organization goes all over the world to help children with cleft lips and cleft palates. To date, he has manged to raise over $2,000. Operation Smile, which was created in 1982, has helped thousands of children in over 80 countries.
As a dentist, Dr. Weisfogel realized that others in his profession could help patients with sleep disorders. He opened Dental Sleep Masters and Owners Unlimited Sleep patient to help dentists learn more about treating sleep apnea with oral appliances.
Dr. Weisfogel has seen the affects of sleeping disorders within his own family. It is a serious condition that can lead to other ailments and death. Individuals who are overweight are at a higher risk for developing this condition. Children are less likely to develop the condition but are susceptible if the suffer from enlarged tonsils.
Dr. Weisfogel graduated from Rutgers University and New York University College of Dentistry. He is a married father of six and lives in New Jersey.
