www.haarp.net HAARP Boils the Upper Atmosphere HAARP will zap the upper atmosphere with a focused and steerable electromagnetic beam. It is an advanced model of an "ionospheric heater." (The ionosphere is the electrically-charged sphere surrounding Earth's upper atmosphere. It ranges between 40 to 60 miles above the surface of the Earth.) Put simply, the apparatus for HAARP is a reversal of a radio telescope; antenna send out signals instead of receiving. HAARP is the test run for a super-powerful radiowave-beaming technology that lifts areas of the ionosphere by focusing a beam and heating those areas. Electromagnetic waves then bounce back onto earth and penetrate everything -- living and dead. HAARP publicity gives the impression that the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program is mainly an academic project with the goal of changing the ionosphere to improve communications for our own good. However, other US military documents put it more clearly -- HAARP aims to learn how to "exploit the ionosphere for Department of Defense purposes." Communicating with submarines is only one of those purposes.

Recorded from BBC World News on 28.02.2010 The quake struck at 0834 GMT (3:34 am local time) about 90km (56 miles) north-east of the city of Concepcion and about 320km south-west of the capital, Santiago. Buildings in Santiago were reported to have shaken for between about 30 seconds, with the loss of electricity and communications following. The death-toll remains unclear but is confirmed to count at least 300 victims. Easter Island is beeing evacuated as a precautionary measure in expectation of a possible tsunami. The US issued an initial tsunami warning for Chile, Peru and Ecuador, which was later extended to Colombia, Antarctica, Panama, Costa Rica and then as far as New Zealand and Hawaii. At 3:34 am local time, today, February 27th, a devastating magnitude 8.8 earthquake struck Chile, one of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded. According to Chile's interior minister, at least 214 people are now known to have been killed. The earthquake also triggered a Tsunami which is right now propagating across the Pacific Ocean, due to arrive in Hawaii in hours (around 11:00 am local time). The severity of the Tsunami is still not known, but alerts are being issued across the Pacific.
