November 20th, 2008 at 7:17 pmRemember to never allow your shadow to go over the fish because they will see it refracted and dart away and it will signal to other fish to stay clear of that general vicinity. Also, you can heat the tips (gently cross it over a fire but don’t scorch) of the spear in a fire to make them stronger and the puncture potential more resilient for penetration.
