This video is about hunting and survival options for your day pack and what you should have incase you get stranded. What to put inside my pool party survival kit
Hi I am having a big pool party in July adults only and want to make a survial kit. What should I put inside I was thinking of things like sunblock and chapstick what else I was going to use a beach bucket as the container.
There will be about 40 people.
They are young adults 21-27. Love to play around still. Canon balls and water fights

It would be fun to include a cheap whistle like lifeguards use. I know this is going to sound weird but you could include some pool toys there are balls that the kids at the local pool throw around. They are covered in cloth and fill up with water. How about water guns I am not sure how serious a group of adults you will be having but something fun to play with that they would not buy for themselves.

From Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org The 1971 San Fernando earthquake (also known as Sylmar earthquake) struck the San Fernando Valley near Sylmar at 6:00:55 am PST on February 9, 1971, with a magnitude of 6.6. There are various names for this earthquake. Seismologists call it the San Fernando earthquake. USGS 'Sylmar Quake' or 'Sylmar earthquake' is the name initially given to the event by local media outlets, because the worst damage was to the Olive View Medical Center, located in Sylmar. Local veterans of 'the Sylmar Quake' commonly refer to this seismic event as the 'February Ninth' quake. Contains the famous line about the earth shaking "like an angry parent shakes his screaming child!"

I plan to travel to China during China's National Day holiday. I have no knowledge of Chinese whatsoever. I want to learn survival Chinese and words used for traveling. In order to meet the deadlines of my travel plan I prefer a one-on-one private tutoring with a customized study plan. Any suggestions

If you have only one month left I suggest you finding a Chinese tutor online. It's convenient and mostly cheaper than face-to-face tutoring. But not all Chinese tutors online are certificated or qualified teachers. Though they speak both Chinese and English they don't necessarily teach Chinese well. As far as I know as told by a friend studying online Chinese there is a leading Chinese learning center with specialist expertise in Chinese teaching and distance learning methods. They have varied Chinese courses one-on-one tutoring with customized study planner. Most courses have an intense training schedule and can be finished with in a month. If you want to know more you can go to the site -- http://www.echinese4all.cn Find travel Chinese and see more details. Good luck!

Outdoor Review of a homeade necklace kit. Items on it will aid in your ability to survive in an outdoor situation.survival
so i'm writing a survival guide for traveling in the freezing yukon territory in canada. what could I include I thought of warm clothes and matches but what else would help up there Thankks..

How in depth do you want to go

To start with clothes :

Layer up dont wear an all in one arctic type suit because if you start getting too hot you cant take it off or you will freeze.

Better to wear a bunch of layers and remove or add an internal layer depending on your body temp.

You want your external layer to be waterproof because if your clothes get wet it takes longer to dry in cold temps also it will mean starting a fire.

Cotton is warmest for your base layers but when wet it conducts heat from your body a hell of a lot faster than acrylic base layers.

If you plan on falling into any ice cold water you wan to consider that.

Dont forget gloves a hat face mask and shades or goggles to protect from snow blindness. Exposed skin can die within 10 or 15 mins of exposure in real cold temps.

Other stuff :

A knife a gun (for bears and moose) snow shoes map and compass bag to put your gear in roll mat sleeping bag full change of clothing first aid kit survival rations small axe cooking utensils shelter.

Above all you really need a knowledge of survival skills.

Ive spent a lot of time outdoors and I feel if I were dumped in the Yukon with nothing but the clothes on my back I would be able to survive.

Without a knowledge of things like how to turn a caribou into clothing tools food for weeks string and basic shelter components you will have to bring all these things with you.

A basic knowledge of survival skills and the environment you will be entering is the key to surviving in inhospitable landscapes in m opinion.

Hope this helps you out.
