Presentation of several options when it comes to outdoor survival books. These are great sources of information. Some are small enough to add to your kit. I've read each of the books, some more than once. I also frequently look up info in them. Each book is described and rated. Review by ryanjcus

Wilderness Survival: “The Blow Out Kit”

Thanks for your interest in the Gun Runners. This is a very short excerpt from the "Wilderness Survival" portion of the Situational Control program offered by our group. The purpose of this clip is to examine some of the principles of civil blow out kits. For more information feel free to contact me.
GENERAL DISCLAIMER
This film is intended to be as much promotional as educational. There are many aspects of Wilderness Survival that have been excluded. This video is a very small snapshot of the overall Wilderness Survival course we offer and fails to properly address 99.999 percent of the issues the full program of instruction covers. Survival and Blow Out Kits will vary greatly with the season, the environment you're enjoying, and distance from civilization you expect to travel. Certain items in your kits may require maintenance of some sort or have expiration dates so special care should be given to "pre-flight" your kits two or three times a year.
In addition, there are two different Blow Out Kits we teach about on the Gun Runners: Civilian and Combat. Combat Blow Out Kits are addressed in the Escape & Evasion portion of our Patrolling program, and to a lesser degree in our Direct Action Mission Planning course. Please feel free to make any suggestion about modifications to the Wilderness Survival Blow Out Kit that you have.
